Ancient Capitals, Wine Regions & Caucasus Mountains

Our first destination is one of the most impressive and underrated landmarks in the country — the monumental Chronicle of Georgia. Rising high above the Tbilisi Sea, these gigantic stone pillars tell the story of Georgian kings, queens, heroes, and biblical scenes carved into massive dark columns. The atmosphere here feels cinematic and powerful, while the panoramic view over the city and lake creates the perfect first memory of Georgia.

Next, we travel to the legendary Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site standing proudly on a hilltop above the meeting point of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. Built in the 6th century, this sacred monastery is one of the most important spiritual symbols of Georgia. The peaceful silence, mountain breeze, and unforgettable panorama create a magical atmosphere that has inspired travelers and poets for centuries.

We continue to the ancient town of Mtskheta, once the royal capital of the Kingdom of Iberia and one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Walking through its charming streets feels like stepping back in time. Surrounded by ancient churches, traditional houses, and cozy cafés, Mtskheta is considered the spiritual heart of Georgia.

After returning to Tbilisi, we begin exploring the colorful heart of the capital city. This tour takes you through the most iconic and beautiful corners of Old Tbilisi, where ancient history blends perfectly with modern life. We stroll through the magical streets near the famous Gabriadze Theater, known for its fairy-tale clock tower and artistic atmosphere. From there, we cross the futuristic Peace Bridge and relax in the green surroundings of Rike Park. A scenic cable car ride lifts us above the old city toward the iconic Mother of Georgia monument, where breathtaking panoramic views await. We then continue through the peaceful paths of the botanical garden, hidden in the cliffs behind Narikala Fortress, where a beautiful natural waterfall creates a refreshing and unexpected escape in the middle of the city.

Our first stop is the famous KTW winery, where you will discover the secrets of traditional Georgian winemaking. Here, you can taste several varieties of local wines completely free of charge, including the unique amber wines made in traditional clay vessels called qvevri. Learn about Georgia’s ancient wine culture while enjoying the warm hospitality that makes this country so special.

Next, we visit the peaceful Bodbe Monastery, one of the most important religious sites in Georgia. Surrounded by gardens, tall cypress trees, and panoramic views of the Alazani Valley, this sacred place is connected to Saint Nino, the woman who brought Christianity to Georgia. The calm atmosphere and stunning scenery create a truly spiritual experience.

We continue to the charming hilltop town of Sighnaghi, often called the “City of Love.” With its colorful balconies, cobblestone streets, defensive walls, and breathtaking panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains, Sighnaghi feels like a small Italian town hidden in the heart of Georgia. We wander through romantic streets, explore local art and culture, and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere that makes this town one of the most beloved destinations in the country.

Our first stop is the stunning Jinvali Reservoir, famous for its crystal-blue waters surrounded by green mountains. This peaceful location offers incredible photo opportunities and marks the beginning of our mountain adventure.

We continue to the historic Ananuri Fortress, a medieval castle complex overlooking the reservoir. With its ancient towers, detailed stone carvings, and dramatic mountain backdrop, Ananuri is one of the most photogenic landmarks in Georgia.

High in the mountains, we stop at the spectacular Gudauri Panorama, also known as the Friendship Monument. Built on the edge of a cliff, this colorful Soviet-era monument offers jaw-dropping panoramic views of deep valleys and endless mountain landscapes.

Our final highlight is the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, standing at 2,170 meters above sea level beneath the towering Mount Kazbek. Reaching this legendary church feels like entering another world. Surrounded by giant mountains, clouds, and untouched nature, Gergeti is one of the most breathtaking places in all of Georgia.
