Day 1 — Day 1 – Mtskheta, Gori & Uplistsikhe

   Today we explore the ancient history of Georgia, combining spiritual landmarks, royal history, Soviet heritage, and one of the oldest cave cities in the world. This journey gives you a deep look into Georgia’s past and its most important cultural sites.

2. Chronicle of Georgia

   Our first stop is the impressive Chronicle of Georgia monument overlooking the Tbilisi Sea. This massive structure tells the story of Georgian kings and Christianity through huge stone pillars and offers panoramic views over the city.

3. Jvari Monastery

   Next, we visit Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site located above Mtskheta. From here, you can enjoy one of the most iconic views in Georgia where two rivers meet — the Aragvi and Mtkvari.

4. Stalin Museum

   We continue to Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Here we visit the Stalin Museum, where you will learn about his life, Soviet history, and see personal items and the famous armored train carriage.

5. Uplistsikhe Cave Town

   Next, we explore Uplistsikhe, one of the oldest rock-hewn towns in Georgia. Walking through ancient caves, tunnels, and halls carved into stone feels like stepping back thousands of years in history.

   We can stop for lunch in Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia, where you can enjoy traditional Georgian food in a peaceful historic atmosphere.

7. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral

   We continue in Mtskheta and visit the magnificent Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of the most sacred places in Georgia and a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its spiritual and historical importance.

   You will have free time to explore souvenir shops, walk through the old streets, and enjoy the charming atmosphere of the ancient capital.

9. End · Evening Return to Tbilisi

   After a full day of history, culture, and exploration, we return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2 — Day 2 – Kazbegi

1. Start · Morning Departure from Hotel

   Today we travel along the famous Georgian Military Highway toward the breathtaking Caucasus Mountains. This scenic route is full of rivers, valleys, ancient fortresses, and incredible mountain views.

2. Jinvali Reservoir

   Our first stop is the beautiful Jinvali Reservoir, a turquoise mountain lake surrounded by stunning nature — a perfect photo spot.

3. Optional · Souvenir Shopping

   On the way, you can stop at local markets to buy traditional Georgian souvenirs, honey, churchkhela, and handmade crafts.

4. Ananuri Castle

   Next, we visit the historic Ananuri Fortress, overlooking the reservoir. This medieval castle is one of the most beautiful historical sites in Georgia.

   In the Gudauri area, you can enjoy optional adventure activities like ATV rides, buggy tours, and paragliding over the Caucasus Mountains for an unforgettable experience.

6. Gudauri Friendship Monument

   We continue to the Gudauri Friendship Monument, offering panoramic views of deep valleys and snow-capped mountains.

7. Kazbegi (Stepantsminda)

   We arrive in Kazbegi, a peaceful mountain town surrounded by the stunning peaks of the Caucasus. Here you will experience pure mountain nature and traditional village life.
