Day 1 — Ancient Kingdoms and Legends

2. Chronicle of Georgia

   Our first destination is the magnificent Chronicle of Georgia, a monumental masterpiece overlooking the Tbilisi Sea. Giant stone pillars decorated with scenes of Georgian kings, heroes, and biblical stories rise dramatically above the hills, creating one of the most impressive landmarks in the country. The panoramic views over Tbilisi and the calm atmosphere make this a perfect first stop to begin your journey.

3. Jvari Monastery

   Next, we continue to the legendary Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO-protected masterpiece from the 6th century. Located high above the meeting point of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers, this sacred place offers breathtaking panoramic views and a peaceful spiritual atmosphere. The ancient stone walls, fresh mountain air, and surrounding landscapes make Jvari one of the most unforgettable monasteries in Georgia.

4. Gori Stalin Museum

   We continue toward the city of Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Here we will visit the Stalin Museum, where you can explore exhibits dedicated to Soviet history, personal belongings, photographs, and even Stalin’s private railway carriage. This fascinating museum offers a unique opportunity to better understand an important and controversial period of world history.

   Before continuing our adventure, we can stop at a local restaurant in Gori to enjoy traditional Georgian cuisine and relax for a while during the journey.

6. Uplistsikhe Cave Town

   Our final destination today is the incredible Uplistsikhe Cave Town, one of the oldest rock-hewn settlements in the Caucasus region. Carved directly into massive cliffs thousands of years ago, this ancient city once stood on the legendary Silk Road. As we explore hidden tunnels, ancient halls, wine cellars, and stone streets, you will feel transported back in time to one of Georgia’s earliest civilizations.

7. End · Evening Return to Tbilisi

   After a day filled with history and unforgettable landscapes, we return comfortably to Tbilisi for a relaxing evening in the capital. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2 — The Wine Region of Kakheti

1. Start · Morning Journey to Kakheti

   Today we journey east toward Kakheti, the famous wine region of Georgia and one of the oldest winemaking areas in the world. Beautiful vineyards, peaceful monasteries, charming hilltop towns, and traditional Georgian hospitality await us throughout the day.

2. KTW Winery

   Our first stop is the well-known KTW Winery, where you will discover the ancient Georgian tradition of winemaking. Georgia proudly holds over 8,000 years of wine history, and today you will taste several authentic local wines completely free of charge. You will also learn about traditional qvevri winemaking methods while enjoying the warm atmosphere of the vineyards.

3. Bodbe Monastery

   Next, we visit the peaceful Bodbe Monastery, one of the most sacred places in Georgia. Surrounded by gardens and overlooking the beautiful Alazani Valley, this monastery is the resting place of Saint Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia. The calm environment and breathtaking scenery make this stop deeply relaxing and spiritually inspiring.

4. Optional · Lunch in Sighnaghi

   We can stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant with spectacular views over the Alazani Valley, where you can enjoy authentic Kakhetian cuisine and local hospitality.

5. Sighnaghi City Tour

   We continue to the charming town of Sighnaghi, often called the “City of Love.” Colorful balconies, cobblestone streets, wine houses, and panoramic mountain views create an unforgettable atmosphere. Walking through the old town feels like stepping into a small romantic European village hidden in the Caucasus Mountains.

6. End · Evening Return to Tbilisi

   After a beautiful day filled with wine, history, and unforgettable landscapes, we comfortably return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 3 — Into the Great Caucasus Mountains

1. Start · Morning Georgian Military Highway

   Today we begin one of the most spectacular journeys in Georgia as we travel along the famous Georgian Military Highway toward the mighty Caucasus Mountains. Snowy peaks, medieval fortresses, dramatic valleys, and unforgettable mountain scenery accompany us throughout the entire day.

2. Jinvali Reservoir

   Our first stop is the stunning Jinvali Reservoir, famous for its crystal turquoise water surrounded by green mountains. This peaceful location is one of the most scenic viewpoints along the Georgian Military Highway.

3. Ananuri Castle

   Next, we explore the beautiful Ananuri Castle complex, a medieval fortress overlooking the Aragvi River. Ancient churches, defensive towers, and breathtaking mountain views make this one of Georgia’s most iconic historical landmarks.

4. Optional · Mountain Adventures

   For travelers seeking excitement, optional activities such as white-water rafting, ATV and buggy rides, or paragliding are available along the route. These thrilling experiences offer unforgettable views and adrenaline in the heart of the Caucasus Mountains.

   Our final destination today is the legendary Gergeti Trinity Church, standing proudly beneath the towering Mount Kazbek at 2,170 meters above sea level. Surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes and floating clouds, this iconic church creates one of the most unforgettable views in all of Georgia.

Day 4 — Valleys and Waterfalls

1. Start · Morning Mountain Exploration

   This morning we continue exploring the wild beauty of northern Georgia. Today combines peaceful monasteries, mountain rivers, easy hiking trails, and beautiful alpine landscapes before we comfortably return to the capital.

2. Gveleti Waterfall

   Our first adventure of the day is the beautiful Gveleti Waterfall. A short and easy hike through green valleys and rocky mountain paths leads us to this hidden natural wonder surrounded by towering cliffs and fresh mountain air. The peaceful sounds of rushing water and the untouched beauty of the area create a truly refreshing experience.

3. Dariali Monastery

   Next, we visit the peaceful Dariali Monastery, located near the dramatic Dariali Gorge close to the Georgian-Russian border. Surrounded by steep mountains and powerful rivers, this hidden monastery offers incredible scenery and a calm spiritual atmosphere deep within the Caucasus.

4. Optional · Lunch in Gudauri

   On our return journey, we can stop in Gudauri for a relaxing lunch with panoramic mountain views and fresh alpine air.

5. Bazaleti Lake

   Before arriving back in Tbilisi, we visit the peaceful Bazaleti Lake, a beautiful natural retreat surrounded by green hills and calm landscapes. This relaxing stop is the perfect way to end our mountain adventure before returning to the city.
