Our first destination is the magnificent Chronicle of Georgia, a monumental masterpiece overlooking the Tbilisi Sea. Giant stone pillars decorated with scenes of Georgian kings, heroes, and biblical stories rise dramatically above the hills, creating one of the most impressive landmarks in the country. The panoramic views over Tbilisi and the calm atmosphere make this a perfect first stop to begin your journey.

Jvari Monastery
Next, we continue to the legendary Jvari Monastery, a UNESCO-protected masterpiece from the 6th century. Located high above the meeting point of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers, this sacred place offers breathtaking panoramic views and a peaceful spiritual atmosphere. The ancient stone walls, fresh mountain air, and surrounding landscapes make Jvari one of the most unforgettable monasteries in Georgia.

We continue toward the city of Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Our final destination today is the incredible Uplistsikhe Cave Town, one of the oldest rock-hewn settlements in the Caucasus region. Carved directly into massive cliffs thousands of years ago, this ancient city once stood on the legendary Silk Road. As we explore hidden tunnels, ancient halls, wine cellars, and stone streets, you will feel transported back in time to one of Georgia’s earliest civilizations.

Return to Tbilisi
After a day filled with history and unforgettable landscapes, we return comfortably to Tbilisi for a relaxing evening in the capital. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 2 — The Wine Region of Kakheti

Journey to Kakheti
Today we journey east toward Kakheti, the famous wine region of Georgia and one of the oldest winemaking areas in the world. Beautiful vineyards, peaceful monasteries, charming hilltop towns, and traditional Georgian hospitality await us throughout the day.

Our first stop is the well-known KTW Winery, where you will discover the ancient Georgian tradition of winemaking. Georgia proudly holds over 8,000 years of wine history, and today you will taste several authentic local wines completely free of charge. You will also learn about traditional qvevri winemaking methods while enjoying the warm atmosphere of the vineyards.

Bodbe Monastery
Next, we visit the peaceful Bodbe Monastery, one of the most sacred places in Georgia. Surrounded by gardens and overlooking the beautiful Alazani Valley, this monastery is the resting place of Saint Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia. The calm environment and breathtaking scenery make this stop deeply relaxing and spiritually inspiring.

Day 3 — Into the Great Caucasus Mountains

Today we begin one of the most spectacular journeys in Georgia as we travel along the famous Georgian Military Highway toward the mighty Caucasus Mountains. Snowy peaks, medieval fortresses, dramatic valleys, and unforgettable mountain scenery accompany us throughout the entire day.

Jinvali Reservoir
Our first stop is the stunning Jinvali Reservoir, famous for its crystal turquoise water surrounded by green mountains. This peaceful location is one of the most scenic viewpoints along the Georgian Military Highway.

Ananuri Castle

Day 4 — Valleys and Waterfalls

Our first adventure of the day is the beautiful Gveleti Waterfall. A short and easy hike through green valleys and rocky mountain paths leads us to this hidden natural wonder surrounded by towering cliffs and fresh mountain air. The peaceful sounds of rushing water and the untouched beauty of the area create a truly refreshing experience.

Dariali Monastery
Next, we visit the peaceful Dariali Monastery, located near the dramatic Dariali Gorge close to the Georgian-Russian border. Surrounded by steep mountains and powerful rivers, this hidden monastery offers incredible scenery and a calm spiritual atmosphere deep within the Caucasus.
