   Today we travel along one of the most beautiful routes in Georgia — the legendary Georgian Military Highway. This journey takes you through dramatic mountains, deep valleys, ancient fortresses, and breathtaking viewpoints. On the way to Kazbegi, you will experience the true beauty of the Greater Caucasus Mountains and enjoy unforgettable landscapes at every turn.

2. Morning Jinvali Reservoir

   Our first stop is the stunning Jinvali Reservoir, a turquoise mountain lake surrounded by green hills and peaceful nature. This is one of the most photogenic places in Georgia, where you can enjoy fresh air and incredible panoramic views of the water and mountains.

   On the way, we can stop at local roadside markets where you will find traditional Georgian souvenirs, honey, churchkhela, handmade crafts, and local products.

4. Morning Ananuri Castle

   Next, we visit the historic Ananuri Fortress, a beautiful medieval castle complex overlooking the Jinvali Reservoir. This ancient stronghold tells stories of battles, Georgian kings, and feudal times. The architecture, churches, and lake views make it one of the most iconic stops of the tour.

5. Optional · Adventure Activities

   For adventure lovers, there are optional activities available in the Gudauri area, including ATV rides, buggy tours, and paragliding over the Caucasus Mountains. These activities offer an unforgettable adrenaline experience with breathtaking mountain views.

6. Afternoon Gudauri Friendship Monument

   We continue to the famous Gudauri Friendship Monument, built on a high cliff with panoramic views of deep valleys and mountains. This colorful Soviet-era structure symbolizes friendship between Georgia and Russia and offers one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the region.

7. Afternoon Kazbegi (Stepantsminda)

   We arrive in Kazbegi, also known as Stepantsminda, a small mountain town surrounded by the towering peaks of the Caucasus. Here you will feel the peaceful atmosphere of high mountains, fresh air, and traditional local life at the foot of Mount Kazbek.

8. Optional · Afternoon Lunch in Kazbegi

   We can stop for lunch at a local restaurant with amazing mountain views, where you can enjoy traditional Georgian dishes in a peaceful alpine setting.

9. Afternoon Gergeti Trinity Church

   The highlight of the tour is the famous Gergeti Trinity Church, located high above Kazbegi at 2,170 meters. We reach it by 4x4 vehicle or optional hike. From here, you will see one of the most iconic views in Georgia — the church standing under the massive Mount Kazbek, surrounded by endless mountain landscapes.

10. End · Evening Return to Tbilisi

    After a full day of adventure, nature, and unforgettable mountain scenery, we return comfortably to Tbilisi. This journey to Kazbegi offers one of the most powerful and beautiful experiences in all of Georgia.
