Cholashi is a village located in the Mestia municipality of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region. It is the center of the Mulakhi community and is built at an elevation of 1570 meters above sea level. The village's location surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Caucasus gives it a special charm and mysticism.

The local population is mainly engaged in livestock farming, which is closely linked to the local alpine pastures. Svan towers preserved in the village are an integral part of the region's cultural heritage.
