Bulvani — Megrelian Tranquility on the Colchis Lowland

In the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, within the Abasha Municipality, in the Kolobani community, lies the village of Bulvani. Built at an elevation of only 25 meters above sea level, in the central part of the Colchis lowland, this settlement is one of the peaceful and traditional villages of the region. Bulvani charms visitors with its fertile lands, clean air, and the unhurried rhythm characteristic of Megrelian villages.

Geography and Nature

The village is located on the right side of the Tskhenistskali River and on the left bank of the Noghela River (a tributary of the Rioni). Located only 5 kilometers away from Abasha, this settlement is distinguished by its favorable location. The local landscape is rich in riverside floodplains and fertile lands. The climate is humid subtropical — with mild winters and hot summers. The surroundings of Bulvani create the best conditions for walking and relaxation in nature.
