Mount Shavnabada (Javakheti)

Mount Shavnabada is a prominent, extinct volcanic peak located in the southern part of Georgia, within the Samtskhe-Javakheti region. Reaching an elevation of 2,929 meters above sea level, it forms a massive and austere part of the rugged mountain ranges that define the Javakheti volcanic plateau. Unlike the smaller, identically named hill near Tbilisi, this large peak dominates the high-altitude landscape with its dark, rocky slopes and sprawling alpine meadows.
