Gagida River
The Gagida River is a waterway located in the Abkhazia region of northwestern Georgia. It flows from the foothills of the western Caucasus Mountains down towards the coast, eventually emptying into the Black Sea. The river is relatively short but plays a role in the local hydrology and coastal ecosystem. The surrounding landscape is characterized by the lush, subtropical vegetation typical of the Abkhazian coast. While not as famous as some of the larger rivers in the region, the Gagida River adds to the natural beauty of the area, providing fresh water to the coastal plains and supporting local flora and fauna before meeting the sea.
