Ermanistskali River

The Ermanistskali is a fast-flowing mountain river located in the northern part of the Shida Kartli region, near the Greater Caucasus Range. It is a tributary of the Greater Liakhvi River. The river originates from high-altitude springs and snowmelt, flowing through a rugged, deep gorge. The Ermanistskali valley is remote and sparsely populated, offering pristine alpine landscapes and a true sense of wilderness. The area is characterized by steep slopes, rocky outcrops, and alpine meadows. Due to its remote location and challenging terrain, the Ermanistskali is less visited by mainstream tourists but is highly valued by adventurous hikers and mountaineers seeking untouched nature in the Georgian highlands.
