Day 1 — Road to the Caucasus Mountains

Today we begin an unforgettable journey from Tbilisi to the breathtaking mountains of Kazbegi. This road is one of the most beautiful in Georgia, full of ancient monasteries, rivers, castles, and incredible mountain landscapes. Our first stop is the impressive Chronicle of Georgia, located on a hill above the Tbilisi Sea. Huge stone pillars tell stories about Georgian kings, heroes, and important moments from the country’s history. The place feels peaceful and powerful, with amazing panoramic views over the lake and the city. It is one of the most unique places near Tbilisi and perfect for beautiful photos.

Jvari Monastery
Next, we visit the famous Jvari Monastery, built in the 6th century above the old capital city of Mtskheta. This holy place is one of the most important religious landmarks in Georgia. Our first stop is the Stalin Museum in Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Inside the museum, you will see personal items, historical photographs, documents, and Stalin’s famous train carriage. This visit offers an interesting look into Soviet history and Georgia’s past.

Next, we visit the beautiful Kinchkha Waterfall hidden deep in the green mountains of western Georgia. We begin the day with a scenic drive into the green mountains of Adjara to visit the beautiful Makhuntseti Waterfall. Surrounded by forests and fresh mountain air, this peaceful place is one of the most popular natural attractions near Batumi. Nearby, you can also see the historic stone bridge from medieval times.

Next, we continue to the peaceful village of Tkhilnari located high in the hills above Batumi.
