Day 1 — Day 1: Journey to the Beautiful Mountains of Kazbegi

Chronicle of Georgia
Our first stop is the impressive Chronicle of Georgia, located on a hill above the Tbilisi Sea. Huge stone pillars tell stories about Georgian kings, heroes, and important moments from the country’s history. The place feels peaceful and powerful at the same time, and the panoramic view over the lake and the city is absolutely beautiful. It is one of the best photo spots near Tbilisi.

Jvari Monastery
Next, we visit the famous Jvari Monastery, one of Georgia’s most important religious places. Built in the 6th century, this monastery stands high above the old capital city of Mtskheta. From here, you can see the meeting point of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers surrounded by green hills and mountain views. The atmosphere is calm, spiritual, and unforgettable.

Jinvali Reservoir
Continuing our drive into the mountains, we stop at the stunning Jinvali Reservoir. The bright turquoise water surrounded by green hills creates one of the most beautiful landscapes along the road to Kazbegi. This peaceful place is perfect for relaxing, taking photos, and enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Ananuri Castle
Next, we visit the historic Ananuri Castle complex, located beside the reservoir. This medieval fortress once protected important trade routes through the mountains. Inside the complex, you will see ancient towers, stone walls, and beautiful churches with amazing views over the water and surrounding mountains.

Black and White Aragvi Rivers
Along the road, we stop to see the unique meeting point of the Black and White Aragvi Rivers. The two rivers flow together but keep their different colors for a long distance, creating a very unusual and beautiful natural sight.

Lunch in Gudauri
We can stop in Gudauri for an optional lunch with panoramic mountain views. This is a great chance to enjoy traditional Georgian food while surrounded by the beauty of the Caucasus Mountains.

We begin the morning with a short and easy walk to the beautiful Gveleti Waterfall. Surrounded by rocky cliffs and green mountain landscapes, this hidden waterfall is one of the peaceful natural gems of Kazbegi. The sound of fresh water and the cool mountain air create a relaxing atmosphere perfect for enjoying nature.

Easy Hiking in the Mountains
During the day, we enjoy easy hiking routes through beautiful mountain valleys with incredible panoramic views of the Caucasus range. The trails are peaceful and perfect for travelers who want to enjoy nature without difficult climbing.

Day 3 — Day 3: From the Mountains to Ancient Cave Cities

Travel West
Today we leave the mountains behind and travel toward western Georgia. Along the way, we discover fascinating Soviet history and one of the oldest cave towns in the country before arriving in the ancient city of Kutaisi.

Stalin Museum in Gori
Our first stop is the Stalin Museum in Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. The museum displays personal items, historical photographs, documents, and Stalin’s famous train carriage. This visit offers an interesting look into Georgia’s Soviet history and the life of one of the world’s most controversial leaders.

Lunch in Gori
We can enjoy an optional lunch in Gori before continuing our journey westward. Traditional Georgian dishes and local hospitality make this a perfect stop to relax during the drive.

Uplistsikhe Cave Town
Next, we explore the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe. Carved directly into the rocks thousands of years ago, this fascinating place once stood on the famous Silk Road. Day 4 — Day 4: Caves, Canyons, and Return to Tbilisi

Our final day takes us through some of the most beautiful natural places in western Georgia before we return to Tbilisi and finish our unforgettable journey across the country.

We begin the morning inside the magical Prometheus Cave. Huge underground halls filled with colorful lights, stalactites, stalagmites, and underground rivers create a truly amazing atmosphere. Exploring this hidden underground world feels like entering a fantasy movie.

Martvili Canyon
Next, we visit the stunning Martvili Canyon, famous for its emerald-green water and beautiful natural scenery. Wooden walking paths and bridges offer incredible views above the canyon and waterfalls below. Visitors can also enjoy an optional boat ride through the peaceful canyon surrounded by high rocky cliffs and green forests.

On the way back to Tbilisi, we can stop for an optional lunch in Zestafoni and enjoy more delicious Georgian cuisine before the final part of the journey.

Before arriving in Tbilisi, we visit the ancient city of Mtskheta, the old capital and spiritual heart of Georgia. Full of history, beautiful churches, and traditional Georgian atmosphere, this peaceful town is the perfect final stop of the tour.
