7 days Tusheti tour

Day 1, Kakheti Tour, In the morning we start exploring Kakheti region well known for its wine producing. We enjoy superb views of Great Caucasus Mountains and valleys of Kakheti, acknowledge traditions and culture of the country and region, taste wines and delicious food. First we will see city Telavi (one of the biggest and oldest city in Kakheti), there we will see Royal castle of King Erekle II, Plane tree which is more than 900 years old, and after this we will have a chance to taste Georgian wine, in a winery. Than we will drive to see Ilia’s lake, drive back to Telavi, Overnight in Telavi.

Day 2. Tusheti tour, From the early morning we will go to Omalo (Tusheti), on the way we will stop at waterfall, then Abano pass, we will see sightseeing’s on the way, we will have coffee stop and photo stop etc. then we will see villages, overnight in Omalo

Day 3. Tusheti tour second part, From the morning we will start exploring Tusheti, we will go to the direction of Bochorma (highest village in Europe) we will have an amazing views and historical places, Overnight in Omalo

Day 4. Tusheti tour third part. In this day we will go to the other direction and adventures of Tusheti, then we will have a trekking from Omalo to Que, (view point to the Niamori (Capra aegagru), totally 6 km, 2-3 hours). Overnight in Omalo.

Day 5, Tusheti Trekking. From the village dartlo to the village Dano, then from Dano to Kvavlo and back to Dartlo! It will take 3-4 hours, 8 km totally, if you will have energy we will have hiking, from Omalo to Kesalo fortress, it’s around 4 km, it will take 2-3 hours or if you wish we can do it on day 4, we will decide there, overnight in Omalo.

Day 6, Tusheti to Sighnaghi. From the morning we will drive back to the city, it will take 4 hours to reach Telavi, we can reach cheese factory and taste more than 8 different cheese, also we can have wine tasting. Overnight in Telavi Day 7, Kakheti to Tbilisi. From the morning we can go to visit city of Love, Bodbe Monastery, and then wine tasting, afterwards we will go back to Tbilisi. Transfer to the airport.
