On the outskirts of the village stands the Jumati Monastery, a major medieval monument and the former center of the Jumati Bishopric. The complex features the Cathedral of Archangels Michael and Gabriel, adorned with frescoes dating from the 16th to 18th centuries. The architectural ensemble includes an annex and gateway added in 1847, and a bell tower built into the wall in 1904.
