Small western region with strong local character
Guria is one of the greenest, warmest, and most humorous regions of Georgia. Although territorially small, it combines the magnetic sandy beaches of the Black Sea, tea plantations, and mist-enveloped mountain resorts. Guria is also famous for its unique polyphonic singing and fast-talking, open-hearted people.
