Chkuni — Peace by the Supsa River

Chkuni is a village located in the Lanchkhuti municipality of the Guria region. It belongs to the Supsa community and is built at an elevation of only 25 meters above sea level. The village is situated on the right side of the Supsa River, giving it a special geographical character.

Geography and Agriculture

Chkuni is spread across the Guria Lowland, where the climate and soil create ideal conditions for agriculture. The local courtyards are immersed in greenery, where you will often find hazelnut plantations and cornfields, characteristic of this part of Guria. The village is 23 kilometers from Lanchkhuti and is located on the Supsa-Guliani highway, providing it with good transport links.

Approximately 100 people live in the village, faithfully maintaining Gurian traditions and hospitality.
