In the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region, within the Khobi Municipality, lies the village of Bulitsku. Built at an elevation of 20 meters above sea level, on the Odishi lowland and near the southeastern end of the Urta Mountain range, this settlement is one of the region's attractive villages. Bulitsku charms visitors with its fertile lands, greenery, and the unhurried rhythm characteristic of Megrelian villages.

Geography and Nature

The village is located on the left bank of the Munchia River, only 4 kilometers away from Khobi. The local landscape is rich in agricultural lands and riverside floodplains. The climate is humid subtropical — with mild winters and warm summers. The proximity of Urta Mountain gives the village a special attraction. The surroundings of Bulitsku create the best conditions for walking and relaxation in nature.

History and Local Lifestyle

During the Soviet period, Bulitsku and the neighboring Sakvikvinio were united into one village called "Pirveli Maisi" (First of May). Today, Bulitsku is an independent village and serves as the center of the community. More than 740 people live here. The daily life of the population is closely tied to farming. The village maintains the hospitality and peaceful environment characteristic of Samegrelo. A visit to Bulitsku allows you to get acquainted with the authentic life of a Megrelian village and relax far from urban noise.
