Revaz Sokhadze inspected damaged road infrastructure in Kursi village
Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze, accompanied by his deputies, Deputy Minister of Regional Development Levan Zautashvili, Chairman of the Roads Department Levan Darakhvelidze, State Representative in Imereti region Levan Zalkalian, and Mayor of Tkibuli Municipality Davit Kublashvili, visited Kursi village in the Imereti region, which was affected by a natural disaster. The Minister, together with representatives of the Ministry and local authorities, personally assessed the condition of the damaged road infrastructure. Revaz Sokhadze, along with representatives of the Roads Department, discussed on-site ways to stabilize the situation and ensure safe movement for the population, including the possibility of constructing an additional road to reach nearby villages. In accordance with the decision made, work on arranging an alternative temporary road will begin in the nearest future. Simultaneously, a project for a new permanent bypass road will also be prepared.Photo: georoad.ge
