Mt. Tbis Seri
Mt. Tbis Seri rises to 2,601 m on the ridge above Bakhmaro in Adjara, close to the border with Guria. The summit is a broad, grassy dome with open panoramas across the Lesser Caucasus, alpine meadows in summer, and long, quiet ridges that are ideal for a day hike.
Why Visit Mt. Tbis Seri & What to Expect
The peak offers wide 360° views, subalpine flowers from June to August, and a sense of space rare for the region. Expect wind on the ridge, soft grass underfoot, and no crowds. On clear days you can see Bakhmaro resort, the Guria hills and distant Adjara valleys.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the summit accessible without climbing gear?
Yes. It is a hike, not a climb. No technical equipment is needed in summer, only good boots and weather awareness.
Do I need a 4x4 to reach Bakhmaro?
In dry conditions a high-clearance car can manage. After rain or in shoulder seasons, 4x4 is much safer and often necessary.
Is there water on the route?
No reliable sources on the upper ridge. Fill up in Bakhmaro before starting.
