Psou River
The Psou River is a significant waterway in the western Caucasus region. It originates on the slopes of the Greater Caucasus mountain range and flows southwards, eventually emptying into the Black Sea. The river is geographically and politically notable as it forms a section of the international border between Georgia (specifically the Abkhazia region) and the Russian Federation. The river valley is characterized by lush, subtropical vegetation and mountainous terrain. While its border status limits free exploration in some areas, the Psou River remains an important geographical feature of the region, known for its clear waters and the scenic beauty of its surrounding landscapes.
