Matsimistskali River
The Matsimistskali River is located in the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia, near the Lagodekhi Protected Areas. For a portion of its length, the river serves as the natural border between Georgia and Azerbaijan. It originates in the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus and flows through dense, ancient forests. The river is known for its clear, cold waters and the pristine natural environment that surrounds it.
