Kursebi Saints Peter and Paul Church Ruins

Located in the village of Kursebi within the Tkibuli Municipality of western Georgia, the ruins of the Saints Peter and Paul Church (Petre-Pavloba) stand as a quiet relic of the region’s medieval past. • The Altar and Nave: While the vaulted roof has collapsed over the centuries, the fundamental floor plan remains legible. The eastern apse, where the altar was positioned, still curves distinctly, indicating the spatial hierarchy of the church.
