Korolistskali River
The Korolistskali River is a relatively short but notable river in the Adjara region of southwestern Georgia. It originates in the western foothills of the Meskheti Range and flows westwards, emptying into the Black Sea near the popular resort town of Makhinjauri, just north of the city of Batumi. The river is well-known for the Batumi Botanical Garden, which is situated on the Green Cape (Mtsvane Kontskhi) right where the Korolistskali meets the sea. The river valley is lush and green, typical of the humid subtropical climate of the Adjaran coast, making it a pleasant area for short hikes and nature observation.
