Chkherimela River
The Chkherimela River is a prominent and scenic waterway in the Imereti region of western Georgia. It is a left tributary of the Dzirula River. The Chkherimela is best known for carving the beautiful Kharagauli Gorge and flowing directly through the town of Kharagauli. The river valley is characterized by steep, forested mountainsides and is a key gateway to the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park, one of the largest protected areas in Europe.
