Borjomula River
The Borjomula River is a beautiful waterway that flows through the heart of Borjomi, one of Georgia's most famous resort towns. A right tributary of the Mtkvari (Kura) River, the Borjomula originates in the Trialeti Range and carves a deep, lush gorge that is synonymous with the town's identity. The river is perhaps best known for the Central Park of Borjomi, which is situated along its banks and is home to the original source of the world-renowned Borjomi mineral water. The gorge is heavily forested, creating a cool, refreshing microclimate that has attracted visitors for centuries. Walking along the Borjomula River in the park, surrounded by dense greenery and the sound of rushing water, is a quintessential Georgian experience, blending natural beauty with historical wellness traditions.
