Baisubani River
The Baisubani River is a small but vital waterway located in the Lagodekhi municipality of the Kakheti region in eastern Georgia. Flowing near the village of the same name, the river is an integral part of the local agricultural ecosystem. Like many rivers in the Alazani Valley basin, Baisubani is fed by seasonal precipitation and runoff from the lower slopes of the Caucasus Mountains. Its waters are primarily used for irrigating the fertile lands that characterize the Kakheti region, supporting the cultivation of vineyards, orchards, and various crops. The river's gentle flow and the surrounding pastoral landscape make it a peaceful feature of the rural Georgian countryside, reflecting the deep connection between the local communities and their natural environment.
