Krtsanisi

Krtsanisi is a village located in the Gardabani municipality of the Kvemo Kartli region. It sits on the plains near the capital city of Tbilisi, positioned within a landscape dominated by agricultural fields and the lower reaches of the Iori plateau. Historical Context

The name Krtsanisi is associated with one of the most significant events in late 18th-century Georgian history, the Battle of Krtsanisi.
