The village of Gorana is situated in the Sagarejo Municipality, in the western part of the Kakheti region. Perched at an elevation of 960 meters above sea level, it lies on the south-western slopes of the Gombori Range. As part of the Kochbaani community, the village is characterized by its mountainous terrain and scenic landscapes. Geographically, this area serves as a transition between the Iori Plateau and the higher mountain ridges.
