Godaklari is a high-mountain village situated in the Tsalka Municipality of the Kvemo Kartli region in Georgia. Nestled within the Tsalka Basin at an impressive elevation of 1,800 meters above sea level, it stands as one of the highest inhabited points in the country. The village is located approximately 22 kilometers from the municipal center of Tsalka and is part of the Arjevan-Sarvani community. Its position on the Tsalka plateau defines its unique and rugged landscape.

The history and name of Godaklari are deeply intertwined with the nearby Kldekari Fortress. This medieval stronghold was a crucial strategic point and the seat of the Duchy of Kldekari.
