The Church of St. John the Baptist

Standing as a primary architectural feature is the Church of St. John the Baptist, a structure originating from the late feudal era. Measuring approximately 11 by 6.5 meters, the church follows a standard hall-type design common to the region. It is built from a combination of cobblestone and brick, with distinctive reddish stone blocks used to reinforce the corners. The eastern facade features a relief cross embedded in the stone, a detail consistent with traditional Georgian ecclesiastical masonry. The building includes a southern annex and a porch, pointing to its historical role as a center for local congregational life.
