Fichkhovani is a village located in the Kakheti region, within the Akhmeta Municipality. Situated on the right bank of the Machareuli River, the settlement occupies a landscape characterized by its transition toward the Alazani Valley, resting at an elevation between 460 and 500 meters. The village is connected to the municipal center of Akhmeta by a local road network, lying approximately 21 kilometers away.

The territory around Fichkhovani has a long history of human settlement. Archaeological activity in the vicinity has provided evidence of the site's historical importance; in 1960, a significant hoard of artifacts was discovered, indicating the area’s role in regional trade and economic activity during earlier periods.

Situated near the village cemetery, the tower features a square floor plan measuring approximately 6 by 6 meters, with three of its original floors still intact today.
