Dandalo is one of the distinguished and historically rich villages in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Keda municipality. It is located at an elevation of 330 meters above sea level, in the Adjara basin, on the left side of the Adjaristskali River. The village represents the center of the community and plays an important role in the cultural life of the region.

Geography and Natural Environment

Dandalo is built in a beautiful valley, where the Adjaristskali River and the surrounding mountains create picturesque landscapes. The climate here is pleasant — moderately warm and humid, which contributes to the existence of a rich vegetation cover. The village is approximately 15-20 kilometers from Keda, making it well-connected to the municipal center. The nature of the valley and the riverside relaxation spots give the village a special charm.

Approximately 350 people live in the village, faithfully maintaining Adjarian traditions and hospitality. Dandalo is known for its historical significance — near the village lies a medieval arched bridge, a brilliant example of the region's engineering art.
