Historical Context

The settlement has undergone various administrative changes throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. Its proximity to the municipal center of Dedoplistsqaro, located approximately 7 kilometers away, allows for connectivity while maintaining a distinct, quiet rural character.

This geography has historically dictated the local lifestyle, which remains centered on traditional farming and livestock management. Due to its location on the edge of the Gombori Range, the area provides expansive views of the surrounding foothills. The village functions as a small, quiet community where residents maintain long-standing agricultural traditions. The environment is largely pastoral, shaped by the local climate and the ecological patterns of the Kakheti region.
