Chobiskhevi is a village located in the Borjomi municipality, on the banks of the Chobiskhevi River (a right tributary of the Mtkvari). It is built at an elevation of 900 meters above sea level and represents one of the important historical and cultural settlements of the Borjomi Gorge. The village's environment and rich heritage give it a special attractiveness.

Historical Treasures and Architecture

Chobiskhevi is rich in historical monuments. Medieval fortress towers, which formed part of the valley's defensive system, are preserved in the village territory. The Savior and Kviratskhoveli churches of Chobiskhevi attract special attention, being important examples of Georgian architecture. The village's history is closely linked to the Tori region and its strategic importance.

An interesting fact is that the remains of one of the first hydroelectric power stations are preserved in the village, speaking to its technological past.
