Chobiskhevi

Chobiskhevi is a village in the Borjomi municipality, situated along the banks of the Chobiskhevi River, a right tributary of the Mtkvari. Located at an elevation of approximately 900 meters, this settlement serves as an important site for understanding the history of the Borjomi Gorge.

Historically, the village functioned as a strategic point within the Tori region. Its defensive character is evident in the remains of medieval fortress towers located within the village territory.
