In the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, within the Keda Municipality, lies the village of Chalakhmela. Built at an elevation of 400 meters above sea level, on the left bank of the Adjaristskali River, this settlement is one of the peaceful and traditional villages of the region. Geography and Nature

The village is located 20 kilometers away from the town of Keda. The local landscape is rich in deciduous forests and riverside floodplains. The climate is humid subtropical, creating the best conditions for viticulture and citrus growing. The surroundings of Chalakhmela are great for hiking and relaxation in nature. From here, beautiful views of the Adjaristskali valley and the Adjara foothills open up.
